FAQs
How are your ice sculptures made?

We begin with clear ice blocks that we produce in-house in 3-4 days. Many of our designs begin on one of our 2 CNC (computerized numerical control) machines. We then hand detail with chainsaws, endmills, and chisels to achieve the final artistic result. The timeframe from start to completion for a full block piece such as a swan or a dolphin is approximately 2 hours, not counting the prep time for the block, design time for the actual carving, and packaging/shipping/delivery. More complicated pieces may take many hours on the design and layout alone.

How long do ice sculptures last?

It depends on the design of the piece and whether the sculpture is placed indoors or outdoors. A full block piece may last 5 - 8 hours before starting to lose its detail. If it is an outdoor event it is recommended the piece(s) be placed in a covered area (and out of direct sunlight).

Ice sculptures may not completely melt for a day or so.

What are the dimensions of the sculptures?

The sculptures start on a 40” x 20” x 10” ice block. Many designs are carved within these dimensions (Ex. swan, dolphin, vase, palm tree, and corporate logos).

Sculptures outside the block or multiblock pieces vary in size – please call for proper table size to accommodate these orders.

How do I place an order?

Go to the Order Form tab, complete the form and email to IceProfl@hotmail.com, or fax to 941-776-0558, or call us at 941-776-8166 to schedule. Please have a credit card handy.

How far in advance do I need to place an order?

Contact us as soon as you know you would like to place an order. Weekends during wedding seasons and holidays do become quite busy. However, many times we are able to accommodate last minute orders.

What do I need to provide for the ice sculpture?

A sturdy 4’ table (to support 200 lbs or more). Access to electrical outlet (if additional lighting is desired).
